STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA-DRIVEN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN ENTERPRISES UNDER DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

This article examines the strategic directions for developing and improving artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven management systems in enterprises under conditions of digital transformation. The study focuses on the growing importance of AI technologies, Big Data, business analytics, and data-driven decision-making as essential components of modern enterprise management. Particular attention is paid to the role of these technologies in improving management efficiency, optimizing business processes, strengthening operational flexibility, reducing unnecessary costs, and increasing the accuracy and timeliness of managerial decisions. The research analyzes how the integration of AI-based analytical tools and data-driven management approaches can transform traditional management practices and create new opportunities for sustainable enterprise development. In addition, the study identifies the major organizational, technological, economic, and human-resource challenges that may arise during the implementation of data-driven management systems. These challenges include insufficient digital infrastructure, limited access to high-quality data, shortage of qualified specialists, high initial investment requirements, difficulties in integrating digital systems with existing business processes, and risks associated with data security and privacy. Based on the analysis, practical recommendations are proposed for improving the organizational and economic conditions necessary for the effective implementation of AI and data-driven management systems. The results indicate that the systematic integration of artificial intelligence, Big Data, and business intelligence tools can significantly improve the quality of management decisions and enhance the efficiency of resource allocation. Furthermore, the development of datadriven organizational culture, improvement of employees’ digital competencies, establishment of reliable data management systems, and integration of AI technologies into strategic management processes are considered essential conditions for successful digital transformation. The study concludes that AI and data-driven management should be viewed not merely as technological innovations but as strategic instruments for improving enterprise competitiveness, adaptability, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainable development
